The Woollykins Needle Felt Darning Kit, is now available. With a special limited edition collection of 10 assorted colours of fleece from a rare Swiss alps sheep breed perfect for felting and all the equipment needed to mend your moth eaten clothing with this simple and effective method.

The technique is suitable for mending small holes in wool/alpaca knitwear, boiled wool/felt garments and fine wool and silk fabrics. It's especially wonderful for dealing with extensive moth damage. The little moth holes dotted about can be easily covered by felt dots of all colours and sizes.

This is a dry felting technique, also known as Needle Felting and it is simple, quick and effective. Needle felting works with friction alone, no soap or water needed.

No experience or "craftiness" required! Suitable technique for children to learn but Adult supervision recommended as the needles are sharp.

The kit includes: 50g Assorted traditionally reared fleece ideal for felting in 10 colours - see options / Wooden felting needle holder & needle / 5 spare needles / Reclaimed Waste Foam Block* / Wool Felt Shapes / Instructions, packaged in a home compostable cellulose bag.

Wool fleece comes from Seehawer Naturfasern Germany, a family company passionate about traditional wool crafts since 1970.
