Their sheepskins are tanned without the use of any heavy metals, and they even offer organically tanned sheepskin rugs tanned with natural herbal extracts from the Mimosa tree. For over 45 years Kaiser have produced high quality sheepskin products for babies. In Kaiser’s own tannery, the raw skins are sorted according to their suitability and further processed into a high-quality product. Quality control is made internally and also by external institutes. Our medical Lamb & Sheepskins are audited annually by TÜV Rheinland of harmful substances and the guidelines of Oeko-Tex Standard 100, Class I. For all their quality baby products, Kaiser do not use chrome tanning, as these can cause allergies.
