We keep all products in stock here in Castlemaine and DO NOT drop ship using other businesses. We only have the one location here in Castlemaine where you can pick up orders locally.
Woollykins is a small team of three people with many hats (woollen of course). Lovely Zanna packs most of your orders single handedly.
Our orders ship daily and are collected by Australia Post at 3pm sharp Monday - Friday. We do not pack orders on the weekend. Most days any order made before 9am will be posted the same day but we can not guarantee that. We need time to process and pack orders and some days are much busier than others.
If you need your items quickly Express Post is the fastest option. We do not offer same day or express courier shipping options. Express Post normally takes 1-2 business days but since Covid Australia Post no longer guarantee Express Post times. Express post orders are prioritised on the Packing Table during very busy times.

We believe in using minimal packaging that can easily be reused or composted.
We love Better Packaging because their satchels are properly home compostable and are worm friendly.
Most of the packaging in your order can be put in the compost or worm farm. Any Engel/Cosilana plastic zip lock bags are very useful to keep to store your delicates away from moths in the Summer.
General Shipping FAQ
We offer Free standard shipping with Australia Post on all Domestic orders over $200. Flat Rate Domestic standard service $9.95, and $14.95 for Express.
NZ International Flat Rate postage for orders under 2kg going to New Zealand: $19 standard / $29 Express / $49 for large orders 2-6kg.
Rest of World shipping on orders under 2kg is $39 including insurance.

Local Customers can pick up orders from our Castlemaine Studio Monday to Friday 11am-5pm.
If your order hasn’t shipped yet you may be able to add items to this order to save shipping.
Please email/text message us for a special code for free shipping from the second order and we can combine your orders.
If your order has already been processed then it might not be possible to combine your orders and you may be invoiced for flat rate postage.
Yes, mostly (see below for exceptions).
Our satchels are worm-safe, home compostable cornstarch bio-plastic and we use recycled and/or minimal compostable packaging in all parcels. Our printed material is compostable and printed on postconsumer recycled paper with eco inks.
We try to avoid sending you any single use plastics. Engel, Cosilana and some Ruskovilla basics come in a recycled plastic or food safe plastic zip lock bag to protect these delicates but they are perfect for all sorts of uses - especially for keeping your woollens safe from moths in the Summer.
Keep and Reuse again and again like we do. You can request not to receive these but those items may not be exchangeable.
We’re based in Central Victoria and take pride in getting your order out as quickly as possible.
If you are in Australia, your order should arrive within 1-7 business days after it ships. Usually 2-4 days is standard in Victoria and 3-6 days to other states. Delivery can take up to 7-10 days to WA and remote addresses. Covid related delays are still occurring.
If you are in NZ deliveries are taking around 7-26 days - choose the new Express option for quicker delivery. Other International orders vary in delivery time but are taking around 3-4 weeks. Please note that the time your items take to clear customs will also vary by location.
We use E-Parcel by Australia Post for all our standard shipping. We can ship to any address that Australia Post recognises including PO Boxes. All parcels are trackable with tracking numbers sent automatically after your order leaves us.
Select Local Pick Up at checkout and you'll get a message to let you know when your order is ready to collect. Orders can be collected 11am-5pm Monday to Friday, even during "Lockdowns". To collect your order please come to Shed 90, 9 Walker Street The Mill Castlemaine. (N.b. In January we are closed on Mondays)
Yes! Domestic orders can choose $14 EXPRESS FLAT RATE DOMESTIC E-PARCEL (1-2 DAYS*) at check out. Victorian customers who qualify for Free Standard Shipping can upgrade to an Express service for $5. The Express service is not guaranteed to arrive next day as we are located outside the Auspost Express network, but express services do usually arrive the next day. Next day deliveries on Saturday are not possible.
It's always frustrating when a package goes awry. Thankfully this has very rarely happened. However, once your items are shipped, we cannot be liable if they are lost or stolen. Compensation can be sought from Australia Post by the customer. If your tracking number shows that your package is delivered but you did not receive it, please contact Australia Post for more information.
