From the beginning, the Hocosa and Sawaco names have been synonymous with pure, skin-friendly textiles, particularly in the realm of underwear and next-to-skin base layers. Over nearly 150 years, Hocosa has been commited to local production, environmental careand the highest quality natural fibres.
Hocosa garments are made exclusively from certified organic fibres -carefully selected and handled to preserve their natural properties. Their fabrics include a blend of 45% Organic Cotton, 35% Wool, 20% Silk and 100% Tussah Silk.
Every fibre is chosen with strict attention to sustainability and animal welfare -including non-mulesed wool from manual sheep shearing - and processed without chemical or synthetic treatments. Production is carried out in Switzerland under strict environmental and quality controls, supported by a trusted network of European partners in Germany, Austria, and Italy. Hocosa is proudly GOTS-certified, a distinction held for decades. This globally respected certification ensures not only the organic integrity of raw materials but also a socially and ecologically responsible production process - from sourcing to finishing.
