Dear Friends in the U.S.,
We want to take a moment to thank you sincerely for your support of our little business over the years. It has meant the world to us to see our woollens make their way into American homes and wardrobes, and to feel connected to a community of people who value natural fibres and thoughtful craftsmanship as much as we do.
Unfortunately, we need to share some difficult news. Recent changes to U.S. import tariffs and shipping rules have created layers of complexity, uncertainty, and additional costs that we simply cannot absorb or manage as a small, independent business. Each order now requires complicated customs classifications and significant duty charges, which vary depending on the country of origin of each garment. These changes have made it unsustainable for us to continue sending parcels to the United States.
This is not a decision we’ve made lightly. We’ve held off as long as possible, hoping for a simpler solution, because we truly value our American customers and the relationships we’ve built with you. But after careful consideration, we must now pause all shipments to the U.S.
We are so grateful for the support you’ve given us, and we deeply regret having to close this door for now. We hope that in the future - if trade rules ease or new solutions become available - we’ll be able to offer our woollens to you again.
