Women's Garden Sun Shirt in Organic Seersucker

UMIFORM's new Garden Sun Shirt in organic cotton Seersucker. This is an oversize crop length blouse with a simple mandarin collar with one cotton cellulose button and is designed to be worn both on its own or thrown over a singlet/dress for sun protection in the garden, out and about or at the beach.

The wide cut and airy drop shoulder sleeves are cool and comfortable and the short length at the front ensures it is flattering over summer dresses and skirts or high waisted shorts or with a sarong on the beach.

The cut is longer at the back so it covers your lower back when bending down and the long arms are scooped at the wrist to provide coverage over the back of your hand when working/driving or walking. 

Covering up with light breathable natural fibres keeps your skin cool and protects from UV without having to constantly reapply sunscreen. The Garden Sun Shirt is versitile and lovely enough to wear on all occasions. 

For our first SS24-25 release the Garden Sun Shirt is available in a highly breathable double crinkled Seersucker. Seersucker was first developed in the seventeenth century in India, as an exceptionally cool, breathable and airy fabric from which to make clothes in hot and humid climates. The fabric's name is said to derive from the Persian words 'Shir' and 'Shakar', which translate as 'milk' and 'sugar'. The former for its soft and silky feel and the latter for its nubbly texture.
