  • Replacement Blades for The Classic 50 Fabric Shaver

A replacement blade for your trusty well loved Classic 50 Fabric Shaver. After a few years or lots and lots of use, the Fabric Shaver blades can wear down a bit and not cut as effectively. You can buy replacement blades to restore your shaver to its former shaving glory. Using the fabric shaver on synthetic materials will wear down the blade faster than using it on natural fibres.

    To replace your blades:

    • Unplug your Fabric Shaver
    • Unscrew FOIL by turning anti clockwise
    • Gentle remove old blade
    • Place new blade onto shaft of shaver
    • Gently turn blade using no pressure until blade slots into position. Do not use force.
    • When replacing foil cover do not over tighten
    • Your Fabric Shaver has a safety feature that turns the unit off if the foil is loose.
    • For optimum performance replace the blades as often as required.

Note: Blades are sharp. Handle with care.

Disana's advice on Pilling and caring for your woollen garments:

Wool threads, which are dried out tend to pill more. Dry wool loses elasticity. Therefore slightly moisten wool articles once or twice a week with a water mist to keep the concentration of humidity of the wool high. Don’t store or dry wool products in direct sunlight or near a heater - they dry out very quickly. Longer storage of wool items in sealed plastic bags. Lanolin wraps the wool fibre as a protective cover and reduces the pilling tendency. While moistening the wool, put a little of disana lanolin condition into the spray water.
