TheWoollykins Needle Felt Darning Kit. With a special collection of 10 assorted colours of fleece from a rare Swiss alps sheep breed perfect for felting and all the equipment needed to mend your moth eaten clothing with this simple and effective method.

The technique is suitable for mending small holes in wool/alpaca knitwear, boiled wool/felt garments and fine wool and silk fabrics. It's especially wonderful for dealing with extensive moth damage. The little moth holes dotted about can be easily covered by felt dots of all colours and sizes.

No experience or "craftiness" required! Suitable technique for children to learn but Adult supervision needed as the needles are very sharp!

The kit includes: 50g Assorted colour of traditionally reared alpine sheep's fleece ideal for felting in 10 colours - see options / Wooden felting needle holder & needle / 5 spare needles gauge 38-40 / Reclaimed Waste Foam Block* / Wool Felt Shapes / Instructions, packaged in a home compostable cellulose bag.

Wool fleece comes from Seehawer Naturfasern Germany, a family company passionate about traditional wool crafts since 1970.

Designed and assembled in Castlemaine from new and recycled materials. The kit is plastic free and all materials provided are repurposed/reclaimed.  Instructions designed by Woollykins with illustrations by artist Anna Wilson (@abottlefullofrain) and printed locally on post consumer recycled paper with eco friendly inks.
