Organic Indigo & Cutch Hand Dyed Silk Noil Loop Scarves

Limited edition Shibori organic Indigo dyed silk noil (raw silk) loop scarves with so many beautiful ways to wear and use all year round. Great for summer to keep the sun off your skin and ultra comfortable with the cooling properties of silk. Each piece is unique. Check the reference on the image of the scarf of choice. 

100% silk noil hem stitched with pure silk thread. Silk Noil has a soft slubby texture that feels beautiful on the skin and is both cool in summer and warm in winter.

Hand-dyed using a shibori resist technique with all natural 100% organic plant dyes - dyed in Castlemaine by UMIFORM.

Botanicals: 100% organic indigo vat dyed without the addition of chemicals. The fructose vat was fed with peaches and pears :)

Our inhouse brand UMIFORM botanicals feature products that are hand dyed with plants not chemicals in Castlemaine in our home studio using tank water. All mordants used are continuously kept and renewed and reused in the next batch. Remaining plant matter is composted through the worm farm. All water run off goes through our grey water reed bed into a chain of ponds that waters the home orchard.

Care: Plant dyed silk should be washed with a pH neutral washing liquid designed for silk fibres (like our Sonett wool/silk laundry liquid). Handwash only. Dry flat out of direct sunlight. Warm iron if required.
