ITO Japanese Thread Snips Sewing Scissors

These springy, one-piece scissors are traditionally used in Japanese textile and needle work. The blades rest in the open position and the cutting action is achieved by squeezing the blades together. This motion is both comfortable and exceptionally quick.
ITO Thread Snips come in two varieties. The Regular Thread Snips are solid steel with a 7 cm handle that rests comfortably in the palm. The cutting edge is made of extra-hard steel, with a slight contour for precision slicing. High quality snips that will be a joy to use in your mending and repair kit, on the sewing table or for knitters and embroiderers.
