Cuddly Deer Toy/Heat Pack in Organic Cotton/Lambswool - Small

A gorgeous soft and cuddly toy deer that doubles as a weighted toy and a gentle heat pack for babies and children, handmade in Germany by Senger. Also available in size Large here.

With a removable pillow filled with grape stones that can be heated or cooled (see below for instructions), this comfort toy is perfect for those cold nights in winter or when someone is sick with a belly ache. The weight of the seed filling acts to provide a calming effect and give your little one much-needed sensory feedback. Warmth and weight, the perfect combo.

Care: Handwash only. Brush away loose dirt and remove stains like milk with a wet cloth rather than washing the whole toy. Wash rarely, airing does wonders! When required, handwash in lukewarm water with any of our gentle wool shampoos - see Wool Care. Squeeze out excess water (don't wring!). Reshape when wet and dry flat on a towel.

Directions: Open the zipper at the bottom of the animal's belly to remove the grape stone pillow before heating or cooling. 
To cool: place in the fridge for several hours or overnight. While cooling in the fridge, keep cuddling your friend for comfort.
To heat:  Only ever heat the pillow and not the whole animal. Microwave: Place the grape stone pillow in the microwave for about ½- minute, at a maximum of 600W. Oven: Place the pillow in the oven at a maximum of 75 °C for approx. 3-5 minutes. Please note spelt pillows cannot be heated in the microwave.  
CAUTION: Make sure that the pillow never gets too hot, otherwise there is a risk of burns on the skin or the risk of overheating, especially for newborns. If overheated, the pillow can also start to burn.
