With a removable pillow filled with certified organic spelt husk that can be heated or cooled (see below for instructions), this comfort toy is perfect for those cold nights in winter or when someone is sick with a belly ache. The weight of the spelt husk filling acts to provide a calming effect and give your little one much-needed sensory feedback. Warmth and weight, the perfect combo.

Care: Handwash only. Brush away loose dirt and remove stains like milk with a wet cloth rather than washing the whole toy. Wash rarely, airing does wonders! When required, handwash in lukewarm water with any of our gentle wool shampoos - see Wool Care. Squeeze out excess water (don't wring!). Reshape when wet and dry flat on a towel.

HOW TO HEAT Directions: Open the zipper at the bottom of the animal's belly to remove the spelt husk pillow before heating or cooling. 
To cool: Place in the fridge for several hours or overnight. While cooling in the fridge, keep cuddling your friend for comfort.
To heat: Only ever heat the pillow and not the whole animal. NEVER heat a spelt pillow in the microwave, otherwise it will burn! Heat in the oven at a maximum of 75 °C for approx. 2-3 minutes. Alternatively, the pillow can also be warmed on a safe heater (check your heater is safe to do this). Or just cuddle with love: it is the air between the spelt grain husks that warms up, not the husks themselves. Since air warms quickly, simply cuddling your friend will produce warmth.
