Since there is no specific sock yarn in Japan, the Japanese yarn designers selected a long-staple fibre that makes the yarn particularly robust and heat-insulating. The result is a 100% natural yarn made from pure Polwarth wool, perfect not only for socks but also for sturdy outerwear.

The beautiful colour combinations of ITO Kido reflect a modern, Japanese interpretation of classic English tweed. This makes the yarn particularly attractive for classic cardigans and sweaters for women and men. The carefully selected colours give every knitting project an elegant and timeless look. These cones can also be used for machine knitting.
