New for Spring Summer from the Woollykins Knittery. Designed and Knit in Castlemaine for our inhouse label UMIFORM. 

A plain but beautiful seemless singlet, knit in a two tone colour yarn which lends a subtle melange throughout the plain jersey vest.

The organic cotton and merino blend yarn feels soft and light. These simple little vests are surprisingly complicated to knit and we went through many variations to get this just right. We hope you love wearing it. Lovely on its own or layered under pinafores, shirts etc.

Care: Air between uses. Delicate wash when required. Reshape while damp and dry flat. Mend any thread pulls or holes immediately.

Garment measurements: taken in cm on garment laid flat (double for circumference). Tip: Compare to a similar style garment in your wardrobe. Measurements are approximate as there is a little natural variation due to the handmade nature of production and finishing knitwear. 

Model Body Measurements

Yarn sourcing for our Spring Summer collection feature plant fibres: organic cotton, linen, organic hemp as well as blends featuring RWS merino wool and silk noil. 

This yarn is from Hong Kong company UPW which we have found to be a highly sustainable and environmentally conscious yarn producer across all stages of the process from fibre sourcing and throughout the entire production process. Their yarns are spun and dyed in China. There is traceability across all their fibres and responsible practices, such as 100% of their wool fibres come from RWS certified farms and all of their cashmere and yak fibre is certified and meets the Good Cashmere Standard (GCS) that protects animal welfare and grasslands as well as the livelihood of herders. OCS and GOTS certified plant fibres ensure best practices to protect soil and biodiversity as well as farmers and to keep pesticides out of clothing. You can find more information about their practices here.
