Pokeori Mini Loom Weaving Kit

We've created a gorgeous little mini weave kit by assembling the Pokeori mini loom, the ITO cotton warp threads and left over quality natural fibre yarns from our Knittery! Makes a great little gift.  

Pokeori is a pocket-sized loom that can be taken out just for a moment to enjoy a little weaving anytime, anywhere. 

We've created a kit that includes the little Pokeori loom and other materials for creating 100% natural fibre mini weaves for all the many creative uses you can come up with. 

The Woollykins Knittery creates small batch knitwear and although it is a nearly zero waste knitting machine, there are always a few strands that we can salvage and the yarns we use are too special to waste. So we've created assorted weft threads for you to use in your mini weaves. 

You can also enjoy weaving with your own surplus threads and/or thinly cut fabric scraps. Makes a great gift for those who love crafting. You can use your mini weaves to patch garments in need of repair or make original accessories and decorations with the finished small weavings.

Even small children can experience the joy of making while having fun with their parents, which nurtures their creativity.

The Pokeri Loom and the comb are made from 51% scallop shells. The needle is made of high strength paper. These items can be disposed of as combustible waste, making the kit an earth-friendly product.

Pokeori received the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award at Japan Handmade of the Year 2024!

Pokeori Loom/Comb/Needle and the ITO warp threads are made in Japan. The Assorted Weft Thread card is made here at Woollykins from our Knittery yarn production waste (100% natural fibres).

Loom & Comb (made from recycled scallop shells and polypropylene), Needle (paper), Printed instructions, ITO 100% Cotton Warp Thread Set of 5 colours, Weft threads from the Woollykins Knittery - assorted natural fibres (wool, linen, hemp) in four assorted colours. 

Comes packaged in a bio cellophane packet to protect from dust/moths.
