Child's Grippy Striped Organic Wool Socks

Keep those toes warm with Hirsch Natur's classic chunky grippy knit socks, now in stripes! With their non-slip silicone rubber dots, these make great house socks. They are chunky and warm and knitted from 100% organic wool. 

The silicone dots as well as being non-slip also reinforce the soles and protect them from wearing holes as quickly over time as well. Can be worn in the shoe/boot, my kids do without issue, but some children might be more particular about these things!

Composition: Knitted from 100% certified organic merino wool with silicone non slip dots (Phalate and PHP free). A few strings of elastane are sewn into the top inch of the cuff to stop the socks from falling down - these make up 0.3-0.5% of total fibres.
Biodegradability: Wool fibres are 100% biodegradable. Before composting, remove the silicone dots on the sole and the elastane threads in the cuff to dispose of separately.
Machine Washable: No (see our guide to washing wool)

Care: Alternate with a fresh pair/air between use, only wash when required. Wool socks don't need to be washed as frequently as other socks. Hirsch Natur recommend washing your pure wool socks every 6 weeks. Handwash or gentle cold wool machine wash with wool shampoo.
