New from the Woollykins Knittery! Our Heirloom Baby Pantaloons Knitted in our very own Woollykins Knit Studio right here in Castlemaine! 

Soft organically certified merino wool plant dyed with all natural dyes, our beautiful baby pants are reminiscent of vintage knickerbockers knit in a two tone melange to mix and match with the heirloom Smocked Baby Jumper and Organic Baby Blanket.  This yarn is super special and was not easy to come by - not only is it certified GOTS organic merino wool, it is also 100% naturally dyed! We sourced this yarn especially for our baby knitwear collection, but it's a very limited supply.

We have intentionally designed these pants so that they fit a larger range of sizes than traditional baby clothing. The rib cuffs and rolled edges keep the garment snug around the ankles whilst allowing baby to grow into them. The additional rise and long waistband accommodates a nappy and allows the pants to grow with the child. The wide rib waistband has knitted in elastic made from natural rubber elastic wrapped in organic cotton. It feels warm and secure over the belly without digging in. As baby grows the waistband can sit lower making them last so much longer than other baby pants. 

This yarn is especially soft and nurturing. Both merino wool and plant dyes keep the skin healthy and harmonious. Plant dyes are revered for their healthful and healing properties, particularly their anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial and UV blocking benefits.

Please note: the (56) is based on EU sizing in keeping with our other European brands. The number refers to the height of the child and represents the top end of the size bracket. 

Models: Leif (2.5y) wears the 18m-3y size. Polly (6 weeks) wears the 0-3m size.
