100% organic merino wool vests for Children up to 12 years. Made with super fine organic merino wool, with minimal processing and beautifully soft against the skin. Unprocessed merino wool worn against the skin is breathable, temperature regulating and keeps skin feeling dry. It needs little washing with a simple airing all it needs to freshen up.
Unprocessed merino wool layers like Engel's are recommended for Eczema prone skins over the more highly processed Superwash merino wool basics that dominate the market because the natural properties of merino wool are preserved.
All year round top. Great for layering up in winter and on those in-between seasons, or worn on its own during the summer. Takes natural dyes beautifully too, size up two sizes at least for dyeing.
Sizes: 12-24m (92cm height), 3-4 yrs (104cm), 5-6 yrs (116cm), 7-8 yrs (128cm), 9-10 yrs (140cm), 11-12 yrs (152cm)
Size advice - average sizing, designed to be worn fitted against the skin as a thermal body layer. Size up for a longevity.

Care: Handwash only! Size up plenty if you plan to use your wool machine wash - but do so with caution with Engel's natural untreated 100% merino pieces. For easy handwashing try one of our no-rinse eco wool shampoos for delicates. Simply squeeze and soak woollens in lukewarm water for 15mins then slow spin (no rinse) in the machine to remove water and hang to dry.
Note on using machine wash: Wool washing programmes of washing machines vary massively, therefore we can not grant warranty for any damages. With regards to using your wool washing machine cycle always use cold. If you choose to wash at 30 degrees the machine will still rinse with cold water and this shock to the fibres can cause the wool to shrink.
*Please note, like most Engel products the value lies in the quality fabric so they are priced by size. In addition their merino/silk blend costs more than the 100% merino fabric & dyed may be more than un-dyed.*
