Engel's fine organic merino wool baby bodysuits are super soft and pure. Fine untreated organic merino wool worn against the skin provides all the benefits of wool for the health and wellbeing of your baby.
These baby bodysuits can also accommodate a cloth nappy - we do recommend sizing up though as they run small. Engel baby bodysuits have three poppers that fasten at the front so they won't pull under the crotch area or press on the nappy area. With its fine rib fabric these baby bodies are very comfortable and designed to be worn fitted for the comfort and security of a newborn. Natural wool bodysuits are great over wool nappy covers and night nappies as they add an extra wetproof layer and any dampness or leaks that comes through the nappy will be wicked away from baby and not feel cold/wet. Simply air the bodysuit to clean any wee/wetness. Wash only when soiled.

Care: Handwash only. Size up by at least 2 sizes if you plan to use your wool machine wash - do so with caution with all Engel's natural untreated 100% merino pieces. For easy handwashing try one of our no-rinse eco wool shampoos for delicates. Simply squeeze and soak woollens in tepid water for 15mins then slow spin (no rinse) in the machine to remove water and hang to dry.
Note on using machine wash: Wool washing programmes of washing machines vary massively, therefore we can not grant warranty for any damages. With regards to using your wool washing machine cycle always use cold. If you choose to wash at 30 degrees the machine will still rinse with cold water and this shock to the fibres can cause the wool to shrink.
IVN BEST is the highest ecological standard that can currently be achieved in the textile industry, taking into account environmental & social welfare. The IVN BEST certification is only awarded to textiles made from 100% organically produced natural fibres. The certification takes into account all the environmental effects of the entire production process, from production of the fibres to the finished garment, along with high social welfare standards for all companies involved in the process.
