Quick Knit Chunky Yarn in 100% Virgin Wool (100g 4-ply 62m)

An evenly spun, four-ply virgin highland wool yarn in a gorgeous colour range in a chunky yarn weight great for quick knits and for younger knitters also. This is Seehawer Naturfasern's Tundra Quick Knit Yarn. It is spun 4 ply but it's a chunky yarn equivalent in weight to the Golden Fleece Kids yarn which is a 16 ply. It's considered a "Super Bulky" yarn with 5-6 wpi (wraps per inch). 

Please note, the ply does not indicate yarn thickness. The best way to determine yarn thickness is not by ply (which only refers to the construction of the yarn) but by comparing the weight category (lace, fingering, chunky etc), the gauge (stitches per 10cm/4inch) and the meterage per 50/100g.
