*New! Our chunky highland wool over vest is boxy and oversized with wide arm holes making it suitable to layer over shirts, light sweaters, dresses and more. Made ethically in Peru by My Alpaca Copenhagen exclusively for UMIFORM. In wonderfully chunky and soft highland wool.
Gorgeous women's vest knitted in natural highland wool. This is an essential winter layer based on a timeless vintage nordic design. A body warmer like this works beautifully over thermals to keep the chest and belly warm. Makes a brilliant Spring to Autumn vest for unpredictable weather.
Andean highland wool comes from a crossbreed sheep that lives at high altitudes over 2000ft in the Peruvian Andes and is managed by traditional shepherds in the high country. The sheep is a cross between Merino and Corriedale and the wool is characterised as soft and thick with exceptional strength, elasticity and warmth. With care, highland wool garments will become heirloom pieces that you will pass down through the generations.
