Everyday Socks - Wool/Cotton/Linen (Adults 36-43)

Organic cotton, wool, and linen blend knit socks, great for everyday wear all year round. Easy care and hardwearing but with the benefits of the warmth and moisture wicking properties of wool with the strength of cotton and linen. Similar to Hirsch Natur's "All Year Sock", this style has a higher cotton content for harder wear - Hirsch call these their "Guarantee Sock" as they are so confident how long they last for a sock without synthetics.

Wool is perfect for socks because it feels comfortable and dry, even when you sweat. It can absorb a lot of humidity (up to 33% of its dry weight).

Made in Germany by Hirsch Natur - Germany's oldest sock knitting mill. Hirsch Natur's Certified Organic Merino Wool comes from Patagonia.

Fabric structure: 50% organic cotton, 30% organic merino wool, 20% linen. A few strings of elastane are also sewn into the top inch of the cuff to stop the socks from falling down - these threads make up 0.3-0.5% of total fibres.

100% Biodegradable: Cotton, wool, and linen fibres are 100% biodegradable. Before composting, remove the elastane threads in the cuff to dispose of separately, or cut away top inch to re-use as a hair-tie, garden tie, etc.
Machine Washable: Yes (Follow our guide to washing wool)
Machine Wash Treatment: None - these socks are machine washable due to the higher quantity of cotton and linen in the fibre blend compared to the untreated wool (read more about machine wash treatments here).

Care: Ideally, these socks should be hand-washed. Air between uses, only wash when required, handwash or gentle cold wool machine cycle with enzyme free wool wash only (see wool care). Do not tumble dry or bleach. Hang to dry. Follow our guide to washing wool.
