Cuddly Seal Toy/Heat Pack in Organic Cotton/Lambswool - Large

The Cuddly Large Seal is a soft and cuddly toy that doubles as a weighted toy and a gentle heat bag for children and is handmade in Germany by Senger. 

The SENGER Large Seal has a removable pillow, filled with certified organic Spelt Husk that can be placed in the oven to heat or in the fridge to cool. Once it has reached the desired temperature, simply place back inside the zippered pouch. Perfect for those cold nights in winter or when someone is sick with a belly ache. 

The weight of the Spelt Husk filling acts to provide a calming effect and give your little one much-needed sensory feedback.  Warmth and weight, the perfect combo. 

The SENGER Cuddly Large Sealfeatures an organic cotton outer layer, pure lambswool filling, 2 sewn on eyes and a nose and is designed especially for little hands to grasp. A beautiful addition to any collection as it is one of the largest items in the SENGER range. Filled with lambswool from itinerant shepherds whose herds nibble the Eifel meadows of Germany.

To Heat: Please remove the Spelt Husk pillow through the opening in the cuddly toy's belly and heat it in the oven at a maximum of 75°C for approximately 2-3 minutes. When heated, the Spelt Husk pillow should be warm to the touch, the same as body temperature - a living, soothing warmth, never hot to the touch. Refer to warnings above, and only ever heat the removable pillow, not the entire toy.
To Cool: Place in the fridge to cool, and can then be used to soothe when a cooling effect is needed.

WARNING: Fire Danger, do not heat Spelt Husk pillow in microwave, only suitable for warming in the oven due to fire risk. Do not overheat.

Care: Handwash only. Brush away loose dirt and remove stains like milk with a wet cloth rather than washing the whole toy. Wash rarely, airing does wonders! When required, remove inner cushion and handwash in lukewarm water with any of our gentle wool shampoos - see Wool Care. Squeeze out excess water (don't wring!). Reshape when wet and dry flat on a towel.
