Women's Tights - Organic Wool/Cotton

Beautifully soft tights in a blend of 80% organic wool and 18% organic cotton by Grödo, Germany. It's so hard to find beautiful and soft wool-rich tights/stockings for women. Lovely for Autumn, Winter and Spring.

Note about fit: Groedo's tights only come in these five sizes and they don't come with height/weight sizing advice - the best info we have from Grödo the manufacturer is their EU size plus we've added the recommended the size in Australian Women's sizing: 36/38 (XS) 8, 38/40 (S) 10, 40/42 (M) 12, 44/46 (L) 14, 48/50 (XL) 16.

In terms of providing measurments, stockings are a hard one to measure with all the stretch in all directions but we have done our best to recommend sizes that correlate with Women's sizing with our experience of wearing them. For example previously they were down as a bigger equivalent size, i.e. 44/46 (L) was a 16 but we adjusted the recommended sizing because they were quite over stretched over the thigh, so now the size 44/46 is recommended for a 14 to allow for more stretch across the thigh. 

As an example, if you usually wear a 12 Women's but you feel you'd like more stretch over the thigh area then size up to the 14. If you are a 10 but tall and want more height, then size up to the 12. When tights are stretched width ways they get shorter etc, so that's the recommendation we're giving with regards to sizing - you know your body so hopefully the above advice provides some additional guidance.
