Kids short sleeved tee in soft and light ribbed organic merino wool/organic cotton and silk blend fabric. IVN BEST certified and made in Germany, naturally dyed with botanical extracts in Castlemaine by UMIFORM, exclusively for Woollykins.

We have sized these so that they should be loose fitting to provide the best in Summer cooling. Another great benefit of merino in Summer is its dirt & odour repelling properties meaning you can air your garment to clean it and reduce your laundry load significantly.

A loose Merino t-shirt in Summer regulates temperature and keeps you cool. As an active fibre it responds to body temperature changes and stores humidity in the fibres which it then releases as your body heats up, keeping you at a stable temperature. Merino wool also has a naturally high UV protection factor with plant dyes shown to further increase UVP. 

Colour: Indigo Shibori Lines- Each top is one of a kind and will vary slightly from the one pictured - a small amount of indigo crocking is normal and will subside.

Botanicals: 100% organic indigo vat dyed without the addition of chemicals

Our inhouse brand UMIFORM botanicals feature products that are hand dyed with plants not chemicals in Castlemaine in our home studio using tank water. All mordants used are continuously kept and renewed and reused in the next batch. Remaining plant matter is composted through the worm farm. All water run off goes through our grey water reed bed into a chain of ponds that waters the home orchard.

Care: Handwash only in lukewarm water with wool shampoo. Dry out of direct Sunlight. Wool washing programmes of washing machines vary massively, therefore we can not grant warranty for any damages. With regards to using your wool washing machine cycle always use cold. If you choose to wash at 30 degrees the machine will still rinse with cold water and this shock to the fibres can cause the wool to shrink.
