  • Woven Baby/Cot Blanket in Wool/Alpaca (120x100cm)

A classic baby blanket by Stansborough, New Zealand, woven in the softest blend of alpaca, merino and wool from a unique rare breed of sheep called the Stansborough Grey. This super snuggly blanket will give your little one a feeling of warmth and safety. It is as light as a feather yet forms a protective barrier around your child. It is cuddly and warm, yet the wonderful thermoregulating properties of wool balance out the body's temperature to keep baby comfortable for a good night's sleep.

50% Stansborough, 35% alpaca, 15% NZ merino wool

    Colour: Ecru

The wool comes from one of the rarest sheep in the world called a Stansborough Grey. Once shorn, the owner's hand separate the wool into the 3 shades of grey that naturally occurs on its coat, these are then used in all Stansborough products un-dyed. After the wool is spun, it is then woven into throws, blankets and accessories using looms from the 1890s. All processes are carried out in New Zealand making Stansborough 100% traceable from farm to finished product.
