New! Recommended for all your big kids and adults knitwear. For baby and young children we recommend Sonett

The Laundress Wool & Cashmere Shampoo is a pH-neutral fabric wash that is gentle on an array natural fibers including wool, cashmere, merino, mohair, and more. It thoroughly cleans, removing odour, dirt, and oil, while preserving your jumpers’ soft and supple knit and natural lanolin for decades to come. Scented with Cedar - a modern take on the traditional woody fragrance, combining sandalwood, orange, and rose with a base of cedar. While The Laundress love cedar, moths and critters don't!

Size: 475ml - A little goes a long way. Highly concentrated—up to 32 washes, Trial size - Sachet, single use.

Made in USA.

Ingredients: A concentrated blend of plant-derived anionic and non-ionic surfactants, essential oils, and fragrance.

- Nontoxic, biodegradable, and allergen-free.
- Cruelty free, vegan, free of petroleum, phosphate, phthalates, and artificial colour.
- Colour and texture may vary with natural ingredients.

We always recommend handwashing Woollykins wool garments and knitwear. If using your machine only use cold and a gentle wool cycle - but all machines vary so shrinkage can occur.

  • To handwash wash, pre-treat any stains with our Oxgall or Wool Stain Remover soaps then submerge in Luke Warm water with 2 capfuls of dispersed Cedar Wool & Cashmere shampoo.
  • Gently squeeze the washing water through the garment, paying attention to any particularly dirty areas to release any dirt or build up. Do not rub or soak wool for longer than 20 mins.
  • Rinse in clean water that is the same temperature as the wet garment and squeeze out excess water. If only washing one item, roll in a towel to remove excess water, reshape and dry flat. If washing many items, place all in a machine to SLOW spin only (no rinse) on 400 or 600 max revolutions. Then remove, reshape and dry flat.
  • Pull garments lengthwise while wet to help the knitted stitches go back to where they want to sit and retain the garments length.
  • Never use a dryer, dry over a radiator or dry too close to the fire as the heat will dry out the natural oils in the wool and it may become brittle.
