As a labour of love Brenna spent approx 6 hours mending/laundering these amazing As We Grow baby alpaca pants that were very moth eaten and holey and they are beautiful! 100% of the sale of these pants will be donated to PARA (Palestine Australia Relief and Action).
This garment is part of our new Circular clothing initiative *reNEWool* that finds a new home for preloved, seconds Woollykins clothing, keeping textiles out of landfill and promotes the benefits of mending. 50% of all profits from initiative will be donated to our favourite Environmental charities. As part of our Pre-Loved/Mended Collection, each garment has been carefully mended by Brenna, who has dedicated her time to restoring a high-quality pre-loved Woollykins piece - ensuring it can be cherished and worn for years to come.
Mended condition: These As We Grow Grandpa Pants had about 20 small holes on the front and back that have been carefully and visibly mended using 100% organic wool thread, naturally plant-dyed. The repairs add to the character of the piece while maintaining its quality and durability, ensuring a unique and sustainable addition to any wardrobe.(see photos)

Sustainable products At AS WE GROW, we think about every step we take, from design to material selection and from the production of the garment to its continued life. The distinctive feature of AS WE GROW's design is that the sizes last up to half as long as the sizes of traditional children's clothes. This means that the child can continue to use the clothes for a longer period of time while they grow up, which causes less waste and fewer costly shopping trips for the parents.

Care: Air to clean/freshen up or hang in a steamy shower. Wash only when necessary. We recommend a handwash in lukewarm water with SOAK Wash or any of our other gentle wool shampoos - see Wool Care. Press moisture in a towel, reshape and dry flat.
