During these extraordinary times we want to let you know we are going to continue to bring you and your family the most nurturing, comforting woollens for as long as possible. Here are the steps we are taking to ensure that our studio, staff and customers remain safe:
Our Studio is no longer open to the public. We are all taking it in turns to work each day so that we can effectively maintain our own personal isolation measures whilst still keeping working and packaging your orders as beautifully as always.
Our products are all packed carefully away, untouched by others. After entering the studio each time we thoroughly wash hands according to recommended standards. Only then do we touch any surfaces and go on to process your orders.
To despatch your orders we deliver the parcels in a large satchel from the studio direct to Australia Post where they have strict measures to receive, process and deliver the parcels with little risk of any contamination. When the parcels are delivered to your door, you will not be asked to sign the parcel and if you are extra concerned you may choose to leave the parcel for 48 hours before opening. You can read more about Australia Post's safety measures and service here.
In these unnerving times, I personally think it is important that small businesses continue to adapt and operate under the new rules. I want to see small businesses survive and serve their Australian customers because small businesses are the lifeblood of our local communities. It's only large businesses that profit and receive Government support in times like these.
We sincerely hope you are managing under these incredibly trying times. Whilst there are immense challenges there are also opportunities. The opportunity to reflect, to spend quality time with the kids, connect with one another, connect with Mother Nature and our local environment and reimagine the future is what we are striving to take advantage of to the fullest.
Stay well and connected and thank you for supporting our micro business.
