Chunky Wool/Alpaca Extra Long Legwarmers (Adults) *Returning 2024

Soft, thick rib knit legwarmers for adults in a cosy wool and alpaca blend, made in Italy by Lana Bambini.

They contain no synthetic content other than a few threads of recycled elastane in the cuff to hold them up, and the wool is not treated with chemicals, making them healthy for your skin as well. Because they are made from completely breathable fibres they don't hold odour or cause you to sweat like synthetics do.

Fabric structure: Knitted from 65% wool and 35% alpaca. A few strings of recycled elastane are sewn into the top inch of the cuff to stop the socks from falling down - these make up 0.3-0.5% of total fibres
Biodegradability: Wool and alpaca fibres are 100% biodegradable. Before composting, remove the few elastane threads in the cuff to dispose of separately, or cut away top inch to re-use as a hair-tie, garden tie, etc.
Machine Washable: No (see our guide to washing wool) 

Care: Wash only when required. Airing your all natural wool legwarmers is sufficient to clean. Air for 3 days and wear again. We recommend hand washing to preserve the natural properties and performance of the wool and to avoid shrinking.
